Overall the weekend was a big success. We gathered together and hit the ground running. Next, we came up with a concept for our new company fairly quickly and people seemed really excited about it. I was the first to pitch an idea (I won't say what I pitched, you'll have to watch for it soon), and many many others followed. We heard everything from "green" living to a social network for dead people (very interesting).

Do to a request from the legal group, I'm unable to say yet what idea we deceided on, but I will say we are still actively improving on what we presented at the end of the weekend. To work more efficiently, the group was whittled down to a much smaller core team (which I'm a part of) to make the big push on getting the site live. We should hear back from the legal group very soon about the company's future. I'd like to thank everyone who attended the Bloomington Startup Weekend, because these people were as intelligent as they were energetic.

On a side note, please watch for http://vctee.com coming within the next few days. It's a fun side project I'm helping on and it should make for a big splash. Also, keep reading here for updates on my pet project launching soon aswell.
